Light at the End of a Blue and Orange Tunnel
Donnie Walsh is being heralded as a basketball executive Houdini for his freeing up massive salary cap space for this summer's free agent class. Call me a skeptic, but doubt NY will get LeBron or DWade. There will still be some nice players available and next year's team should be lightyears ahead of those of the recent past.
I'm more intrigued to see what Tracy McGrady still has in the tank. It's hard to tell how much of his problems this year have been mental and how much physical. If he is healthy, he'll be exciting to watch in MSG the last few months of the season.
